Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimise secured lending and collections strategies across the retail and commercial portfolios.
• Manage and mentor a dynamic team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Partner with analytics, credit risk, and operations to develop data-driven strategies that enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee end-to-end credit lifecycle management, from origination to recoveries.
• Present insights and strategies to executive leadership and drive strategic initiatives across the business.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field (essential).
• Experience:

• Minimum of 8+ years' experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven collections management experience within secured or unsecured lending.
• People management experience -- leading high-performing analytical and operational teams.
• Strong background in credit risk, strategy design, and portfolio optimisation.
• Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, or Python advantageous.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business results.
