Job Summary ur client is a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing business with a strong national footprint and a reputation for operational excellence. As the Head of Finance, you will form part of the executive leadership team, overseeing end-to-end finance while driving strategic initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and profitability.
You will have oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, governance, cost control, compliance, and operational finance--while partnering closely with production and supply chain teams to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full finance function including reporting, forecasting, governance, and compliance.
• Drive financial strategy aligned to business goals and manufacturing performance.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to financial best practices and IFRS.
• Partner with operations, production, and supply chain to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: CA(SA) or equivalent finance degree (non-negotiable).
• Experience: Minimum 8-12 years finance experience, with strong exposure to the manufacturing sector. Proven leadership or senior management experience required.
• Skills: Advanced Excel, ERP system proficiency, strong technical accounting, cost accounting and operational finance ability.
• Other non-negotiables: Strategic mindset, strong leadership presence, ability to influence at executive level, hands-on operational understanding.
