Job Description
In this role, you will directly manage the company's finance function, ensuring the full range of duties are undertaken and completed to the highest standard.
xc3xa2xc2x80xc2x8bThe successful incumbent will be reporting to the CFO and must have a degree in Accounting and be a CA(SA).
Job Experience & Skills Required:
A minimum of 5 years experience in the same or similar role
General Duties:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of IFRS principles and methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of tax, insurance, company legislation and statutory regulations
- Strong working knowledge of funding markets, margin and balance sheet management
- Understanding and application of SAP and Sage accounting would be advantageous
- Good understanding of the principles of risk management
- Sound business acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Strategic liaison & influencing skills
- Presentation and business communication skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (advanced Excel)
- Good people management skills
