Job Description
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
To implement the Fintech Business Model throughout MTN Group Fintech that will ensure the availability of a uniform financial measurement tool that are aligned to business objectives to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
The incumbent also leads, coordinates, and manages the financial resources, ensuring that operational efficiencies and cost optimization strategies are developed in line with OpCo objectives, and is also responsible to produce accurate financial statements to report to key stakeholders. To ensure the current and future financial profitability and viability of the organisation through the proper administration of the business, effective working capital management and meeting statutory requirements. The role is fully accountable for consolidated financial and non-financial reporting for the company.
The role will ensure, in partnership with stakeholders, that all MTNs finances are managed efficiently as well as all financial and business information represents a true and fair view of the state of the business of MTN.
The role leads teams working closely with Managers across the below six sub-functions:
Forecasting Planning & Analysis Credit Risk & Billing Financial Operations Revenue Assurance Tax * Global Sourcing & Supply Chain
