Head of Finance & Accounts
Cape Town, Northern Suburbs
Salary: R45 000 pm CTCA well-established company operating in the steel manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Head of Finance & Accounts to take full responsibility for the financial function of the group. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong financial acumen and proven experience in managing banking relationships, financial planning, and reporting within a complex business environment.Minimum Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, CA Qualification highly beneficial
- 10+ years of experience in a senior financial role from a manufacturing background; metal industry experience advantageous
- Forex exposure and understanding of international banking requirements
- Experience preparing feasibility studies and business plans
- Proficiency in preparing financial documents for both local and international banking institutions
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, planning, and working capital management
- Oversee all financial matters for the group
- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Engage with banks for working capital arrangements and financial documentation
- Oversee preparation of business feasibility studies and strategic financial plans
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure
- Ensure compliance and alignment with local and international financial standards
