The role is responsible to develop and articulate a clear digital transformation vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and provide safe and secure innovative digital initiatives. Key to this role is managing digital projects
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership

• Development of digital transformation strategy for the company - Clear digital strategy aligned with business goals
• Creation of implementation roadmap - Effective and prioritized implementation of digital initiatives

Operational Excellence

• Implementation of digital tools and platforms - Improved efficiency and reduced operational costs
• Automation of key processes - Minimized errors and streamlined processes

Technology Implementation

• Evaluation and selection of technologies - Seamless adoption of new technologies
• Integration with existing systems - Enhanced system interoperability and data flow
• Data Management and Analytics
• Development of data strategy - Data-driven decision-making
• Implementation of analytics tools - Enhanced forecasting and strategic planning

Customer Experience

• Enhancement of digital channels - Improved customer satisfaction and engagement
• Collection of customer insights - More personalized and responsive service offerings.

Change Management

• Cultural change initiatives - Organizational readiness for digital transformation
• Employee training programs - Up-skilled workforce capable of using new technologies

Risk Management and Compliance

• Cybersecurity measures - Protection of digital assets and data
• Compliance with regulations e.g POPIA - Adherence to industry standards and regulations

Performance Measurement

• Definition of KPIs and metrics - Clear measurement of digital initiative success
• Regular performance reviews - Continuous refinement based on performance data

Collaboration and Partnerships

• Cross-functional collaboration - Aligned digital initiatives across departments
• Establishment of external partnerships - Leveraged external expertise and resources

Innovation

• Setup of innovation sessions and platforms - Continuous pipeline of innovative ideas
• Monitoring of market trends - Competitive edge through adoption of emerging technologies

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role - CTO/CIO/IT Manager
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Project management experience is key
• Knowledge of modern ERP and cloud systems is an advantage.
