About the role

Sanlam Investments are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing strategy. The goal is to maximize the online presence, lead generation activities and grow brand awareness across our portfolio of investment brands (Sanlam Investments, Satrix, Amplify Investment Partners, Graviton, Glacier Invest, Sanlam Multi-Manager).

The Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for managing the digital strategy for all these brands which include all websites, social media, email marketing initiatives, performance marketing, online brand awareness, digital marketing operations, CX and more. He or she will also work with our partners, both internally and externally, to ensure that all our brands are represented consistently and effectively across all digital channels.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic digital marketing and team leadership, as well as a proven track record in delivering top-tier performance in a complex and competitive environment. He or she will be a strategic thinker who strives to innovate, with excellent project management and communication skills. What will you do?

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for all brands, across all channels including website, social media, email, paid advertising, SEO, CX etc.
Plan and manage budgets for all digital marketing activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and ROI.
Oversee the creation and curation of engaging content for our digital channels, working with internal teams and external agencies.
Analyze data and insights to inform decision making and optimize campaigns in real-time.
Stay up-to-date on latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation within the team.
Manage and develop a team of digital marketing specialists, providing strategic leadership, setting objectives and providing feedback/strategic direction.
Liaise with other departments within the company (retail, institutional, client service etc.) to ensure alignment of digital marketing activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners including tied financial advisers and independent financial advisers.
Represent Sanlam Investments brands at a Sanlam group level in terms of digital strategy.
Represent the company at relevant conferences and events.
Work together with other marketing departments including design, PR/Comms, brand and content to deliver on the overall strategic marketing objectives.
Monitor competitor activity, locally and internationally, and benchmark accordingly.
Achieve agreed upon KPIs and targets set by senior management.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on performance and progress against objectives and set KPIxe2x80x99s. What will make you successful in this role?

Required Skills and Qualifications
10+ years in a leadership role in digital marketing.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
Experience in the financial services industry or asset management.
Experience managing a team of digital marketing professionals.
In-depth knowledge & subject matter expert of all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, social media, email marketing, lead generation, etc.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive marketing decisions.
Strong technical skills & CMS familiarity.
Experience with IT development cycles, & Agile working methodologies.
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
Experience in a B2B environment.
Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot and other CRM platforms.
