Head of Department: Inclusion and Belonging
, to provide strategic leadership and drive initiatives that foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging across our school community.
We are seeking a highly committed professional with a proven track record in education to lead initiatives that promote inclusion, belonging and diversity. The successful candidate will also contribute to the academic growth of our learners through the teaching of
English, Mathematics and Natural Science
, while actively supporting our sport and extramural programme.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Relevant Experience
A recognised teaching qualification.
At least 7 years' teaching experience
at the preparatory level.
Proven experience in leading or contributing to inclusion and belonging initiatives in a school context.
Experience in the
development of school policy
.
Classroom teaching experience in
English, Mathematics and Natural Science
.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A passion for supporting the holistic development of boys in a nurturing environment.
Preferred Attributes
Additional training or certification in inclusive education or learner support.
Demonstrated ability to implement innovative and engaging teaching strategies.
A collaborative approach to working within a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in fostering inclusion, belonging and diversity across the school.
Develop, review and implement school policies aligned with best practices in inclusive education.
Support and guide staff in adopting inclusive and innovative teaching practices.
Teach English, Mathematics and Natural Science, adapting lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
Monitor and support learners requiring additional academic or social-emotional assistance.
Contribute meaningfully to the school's
sport and extramural programme
.
Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment with school values and policies.
* Build positive relationships with learners, staff and parents to strengthen the school community.
