Head of Agriculture Technology (Global) - FourwaysIntroductionA leading organisation is looking for a Head of Agriculture Technology (Global) to join their team. The main purpose of the role is to define and lead the global strategy and programme across the company. This role involves industry specific insights, strategic vision, leadership, and technical expertise, as well as a thorough understanding of the company's landscape and regional differences. You will need to collaborate with different regional head of deparments from the agricultural businesses to ensure that the company's solutions meet the global needs and drive value for our consumers.Responsibilities:Create and implement a global agriculture technology strategy to ensure customers have the best technological solutions to meet their needs, while also ensuring the growth and profitability of the organization.Work with different regional heads of the agricultural departments to identify opportunities for improvement in innovation, technology, systems and a process.Build and manage a global hub of agriculture technology experts to drive a consistent agenda, global knowledge transfer, and shared learnings.Drive best practice of product portfolio management globally, ensuring a structured approach to global Research and Development, engineering and design activities.Ensure compliance with privacy requirements, security, and data regulation globally.Continuously innovate our global agriculture technology services and solutions by identifying and evaluating new technologies, partners or products.Communicate the digital strategy globally to ensure that understanding and alignment are present throughout all levels of the organisation.Leverage external partnerships and relationships to drive business growth and enhanced customer value. Requirements:Bachelorxe2x80x99s or Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Agriculture, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.At least 12 years of experience in the agribusiness industry or related technology-based industry sectors, including 7 years of experience in a leadership role.Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing business plans and strategies.Advantageous requirements:MBA or MBL or related post graduate business management degree.
