Job Description

The core mission of this role is to architect the next generation of the company's data science and AI strategy. You will be the cornerstone of innovation, responsible for leading the transformation of complex data into high-impact, commercially successful products. Technical Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: MSc/PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field required.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in data science with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing teams of 5+ data scientists.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Python, R, and SQL. Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud deployment on Microsoft Azure.
• Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in financial services, property analytics, or automotive industry strongly preferred.
• DevOps: Working knowledge of containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring.

Profile for Success

• Demonstrated track record of leading a data science function to deliver commercial AI/ML products from concept to launch.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing new frameworks or processes that have tangibly improved a team's efficiency and impact.
• Evidence of successfully mentoring and developing a team of data scientists, resulting in their measurable growth and ability to tackle more complex challenges.
• Experience translating highly complex analytical concepts into clear, strategic recommendations for C-level stakeholders and commercial clients.
• A history of thriving in a collaborative, high-autonomy environment where you have directly influenced product and business strategy.
