We're seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate leader to join our team as the Head of Admissions for the iX Academy division. The iX Academy division hosts all of the virtual programs for iXperience, and has become a core part of our program offering.

About the Role

As the Head of Admissions for iX Career Academy, you will have the unique opportunity to build a high-impact department and team from the ground up. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of iX by developing and implementing a strategic vision for admissions that aligns with our core values and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Your overall goal in this role is to achieve the enrolment and revenue targets for the iX Academy division each year. To accomplish this, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Strategic Vision: Develop a deep understanding of the iX Career Academy products and create a strategic vision and user journey map for admissions, thereafter being responsible for its implementation and delivering on the KPIs, which fundamentally comes down to a sales conversion target for qualified leads.
  • Applicant Engagement: Although you will lead the division, you are early. This means the first 6-8 months will be spent directly involved with Admissions, on the ground level, which will also give you the perspective necessary to grow the department. You will implement automated nurturing systems, interview potential applicants, individually nurture your funnel of qualified leads and opportunities on multiple channels and platforms, and host webinar info sessions for both applicants and their parents.
  • Admissions Portal Management: We've designed a beautiful portal that our applicants and their parents can use. You will keep this portal up to date, introduce innovative content and design, and own the KPIs associated with it.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use your prior expertise, as well as on-the-job learning, to make the iX admissions process more scientific, measurable, and empathetic through the production of lead qualification models, admissions team performance dashboards, and consistent reporting.
  • Team Management: Although you are #1 hire to this division in Admissions, after approximately 6 months, you will begin to hire, train, and manage a high-performance admissions team to scale admissions in the division and deliver exceptional conversion rates through the funnel to achieve student enrolment goals. Early in the role, you may manage outsourced resources where necessary.
  • Technology Management: Manage the iXperience CRM and Admissions technology for this division, ensuring that there are clear reports and metrics visible to the division and broader leadership on a weekly basis. You will be in charge of the design and maintenance of the deals pipeline within our CRM, and workflows associated with your KPIs.
  • Content Development: Based on data and new ideas from our experience in the funnel, you will develop a consistent habit of brainstorming, designing, collaborating with the necessary stakeholders to develop admissions and sales materials that can be used in the funnel to improve enrolment rates and other KPIs.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in admissions, sales, or a related field.
  • Experience in the education space, with extensive knowledge of education enrolment funnels.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Tech-savvy with senior-level experience with CRMs and other admissions technology. HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Passion for education and a deep understanding of the educational technology landscape, and how the future of education is evolving.
  • Plus but not deal breaker: experience and understanding of the American market, and how college education works in that environment.
