Job Summary Provide and conduct guided, uniquely personalized, and enjoyable safari experiences to Lodge guests Duties: Must establish the guests profile, be it through the information provided before the guests arrival or through personal contact with the guest or a guests acquaintance. Welcome guests and introduce the safari game drive service etc. Conduct marketing by the word of mouth to bring more business in the company. Guide guests during game drives, providing an exceptional wildlife educational experience. Effectively manage the game drive function; scheduling, resource allocation, game count and capturing, game drive requirements, etc. to ensure a smooth and convenient guest experience. Developing new and innovative ways to enhance guest experience. Conduct inspections to ensure safari vehicle safety, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met for a smooth guest game experience. Conduct bush walks (trailing) Prepare and submit monthly safari/Fleet department report on new developments and challenges. Send images to Digital marketing for on a weekly basis for our social media pages. JOB REQUIREMENTS - Grade 12 - At least 2-4 years experience in a big five reserve or 5-star lodge. - FGASA professional membership, level 3 - DEAT &THETA registered - Bird Guide certificate - Wilderness First Aid - Drivers license with PDP - Trail guide Certificate - Cyber tracking Certificate - Professional Hunting qualification will be an added advantage. - Health and safety qualification will be an added advantage.
