Kendrick Recruitment are now looking for a Field Guide for a stunning 4* Lodge in the Amakhala Game Reserve, Eastern Cape. This lodge offers a tranquil grassland retreat that boasts rich game viewing and luxurious accommodation. The lodge overlooks a stunning river plain and the 6 private suites at the lodge offer wide-open views of the stunning African surroundings. We are looking for a FGASA Level 2 Field Guide with Full Trails to join the team at this stunning lodge. They must be a first class guide to undertake daily game drives, bush walks and trails and host the guests for the entirety of their stay at the Lodge. The successful candidate must have a passion for nature, animals, conservation and the environment. Acute attention to detail is key to this role along with a skill of recognising the needs of the guests and offering them a unique experience. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:
- 3-5 years experience guiding
- FGASA L2 preferred or a minimum of FGASA L1
- Full trails
- ARH (POSLEC)
- Valid PDP and a valid drivers licence (Code 10)
- Must be a South African citizen
- DEAT registered
- THETA registered
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Off-road driving in 4x4 vehicles
- Own transport
- Be a general all-round happy people person
- A positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on responsibility
- Experience in using a radio
