Job Purpose
To ensure the delivery of quality, timely, cost-effective reporting for Nedbank Group Conduct Risk in terms of defined reporting obligations and in response to the drive for better control environment
Drive the strategic effectiveness of Group Conduct Risk reporting and continually enhance the scope, content, and format of reports. Improve the efficiency of reporting and governance processes. Coordinate the production of high-quality consolidated reports to facilitate the effective monitoring and management of the Group Conduct Risk portfolio and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
Leverage data-driven capabilities to understand, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets, specifically related to customer complaints and sentiment analysis. This role is crucial for making strategic decisions, improving customer satisfaction, and driving business results.
Gather, analyze, and compile information and data from various business functions into a cohesive and comprehensive Client Responsibility Chapter in the integrated Society report. This role is pivotal in communicating the organization's performance, client protection and fair client treatment to stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in improving processes and automation.
Execution skills including the able to design and implement effective and efficient solutions in a collaborative, constructive manner within tight deadlines.
Continually enhance data processes and coordinate the automation of manual data sources. Maintain electronic archives for all documentation relating to the reports produced.
Keep abreast of local and international conduct risk data analysis methods, trends, and tools to ensure we stay at the forefront of industry standards and practices.
Manage retention and succession of key staff to sustain the pipeline and ensure that the right conduct risk managers are appointed in the right jobs.
Identify career progression opportunities to improve personal capability and to stay abreast of developments in field of expertise.
Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders; to achieve goals and objectives.
Maintain and enhance the Group Conduct risk owned policies, including rating methodology and systems, automation.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and improve overall business performance.
Ensuring data accuracy and consistency and creating comprehensive reports and presentations to share findings with stakeholders
Ensure the delivery of value-added support services, advice, and solutions by creating generic criteria of the regulatory / internal management information, regular communication with stakeholders within turnaround times, participating in formal and informal committees and forums and playing an advisory role in all conduct risk matters supporting the Executive Head of Conduct Risk.
Maximize the effectiveness of the conduct risk reporting framework by meeting and improving targeted operational standards and ensuring high levels of straight-through processing of data and single-source principles
Produce and deliver information in accordance with the conduct risk methodology by analyzing, calculating, and compiling data (report schedules or information) as stipulated by regulators and internal stakeholders.
Deliver accurate and insightful consolidated reports to internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate the effective monitoring and management of conduct risk is well as the integration of conduct risk across the Enterprise-Wide Risk types.
Drive the strategic effectiveness of reporting and committees and ensure best practice is followed and new approaches are researched and adopted.
Facilitate effective use of data sources and reporting tools and investigate and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies.
Coordinate or provide high quality, independent and objective quantitative and qualitative analysis of data as required by the relevant board committee.
Perform oversight of reports and board committee processes in terms of adherence to Group Policies and Procedures, Regulatory requirements, and sound corporate governance principles.
Maintain and enhance the Group Conduct risk owned policies, including rating methodology and systems, automation.
Minimum Experience Level
3 - 7 years of Risk Management experience essential.
Conduct Risk exposure - essential
Reporting and managing people experience - essential
Knowledge of governance and regulatory frameworks, implementation of limits and policies, reporting.
Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving customer experience through data-driven insights.
Exposure in data analysis tools and techniques.
Programming knowledge and skills (Microsoft PowerApps, SAS,) an advantage
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Professional Qualifications/Honour's Degree
Preferred Qualification Postgraduate Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
