Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely preparation of all menu items. Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Manage stock control, inventory, and supplier relationships to minimize wastage and maintain cost efficiency. Develop and implement new menu items or specials aligned with Bootlegger's brand and seasonal trends. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. Work closely with management to improve kitchen performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, preferably in a high-volume cafe or restaurant environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a diverse team. Excellent knowledge of kitchen management, costing, and stock control. A passion for fresh, high-quality food and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency during busy periods. Culinary qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
