Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is now looking for an experienced Head Chef for a Luxury 5* Property based on a Private Reserve in the Albany Region of the Eastern Cape. The perfect candidate for this position must produce beautifully plated, creative everyday dishes that are tasty, healthy, perfectly prepared and well presented. Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience in the 5* bush-based hospitality field
- Chef School/Culinary Qualifications
- Experienced in kitchen service and staff management
- Passion for food and cooking
- An eye for detail and presentation
- Great planning and organizational skills
- Experience of stock control and food portioning
- Hands on approach
- Ensure effective menu planning
- Confidence in dealing with guests
- Sense of ownership and pride for the guest experience
- Flexible attitude and willing to take on tasks as necessary
