Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on lighting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, furniture, and fixtures. Complete all work safely and in compliance with OHS Act requirements. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and workshop. Log maintenance issues and complete work orders accurately. Conduct inspections and planned preventative maintenance tasks. Escort and oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance and site cleanliness. Prepare weekly/monthly reports and maintain accurate records. Deliver excellent customer service and resolve queries promptly.

Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of building layouts, infrastructure, and facilities equipment. Proficiency with hand and power tools; plumbing and electrical systems. Strong time management and multitasking ability. Customer-focused with good communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team under pressure. Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12). NQF Level 4 technical qualification advantageous. * Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar environment.
