Rated Driving is a UK-based marketplace connecting learner drivers with top-rated instructors. We have the product, the ads, the SEO, and the demand. Now, we need a

Growth Operator

to connect the pipes and make the machine run faster.

This is not a standard marketing role. We are not looking for someone to just "run ads" or "post on social media."

We are looking for a technical, data-obsessed operator who sits at the intersection of

Product, Operations, and Development.

You will act as a "mini growth engine," identifying bottlenecks in our marketplace (supply/demand), optimising our funnels, and briefing our developers on high-impact fixes.

If you can write a SQL query, draft a clear Jira ticket for a developer, and explain why our CAC is fluctuating--all in the same hour--this role is for you.

What You Will Do

You will work autonomously to drive revenue (GMV) and efficiency without needing constant supervision. Your core responsibilities include:

Marketplace Balancing:

Analyze postcode-level data to balance student demand with instructor supply. You will identify where we are "leaking" revenue due to lack of supply.

Funnel Optimisation:

obsess over conversion rates from Landing Page > Sign Up > Payment. You will diagnose drop-offs and implement fixes.

Technical Briefing:

Identify quick wins for the platform and write clear, technical briefs (User Stories/Acceptance Criteria) for our development team.

Dynamic Pricing:

Monitor and tune our pricing rules to maximize conversion and revenue.

Reporting:

Track weekly metrics and present the "highest-impact" actions to the Product Owner.

Who You Are

You are a Senior Operator:

You likely have experience in Marketplace startups (e.g., Uber/Airbnb models), SaaS, or high-growth tech environments.

You are Technical:

You are comfortable with data (SQL knowledge is a massive plus), API concepts, and talking to developers.

You are Analytical:

You don't guess; you look at the numbers. You understand metrics like CAC, LTV, Conversion Rate, and Liquidity.

You are Autonomous:

You don't wait for permission. You identify a problem, figure out the solution, and present the plan.

Requirements

Based in South Africa (Remote). Available for ~12 hours per week (Flexible, but must have overlap with UK business hours). Proven experience in Growth, Product Management, or Technical Marketing. Experience with Marketplace dynamics (Supply/Demand) is highly desirable. High proficiency in Excel/Sheets; SQL and Dataviz tools are a bonus.
