GROUT PLANT FITTER (Grading C2)
Job specification
Grade 11 or equivalent qualification
Recognised Trade Certificate as a Fitter and Turner (Section 13 or Section 26D).
Minimum 5 years' experience working in an underground mining operation.
Experience and knowledge working in a grout plant is essential
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proactive and safety-conscious attitude. High attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Must be willing to work shifts and overtime as required. Must have a valid driver's license and car. South African Citizenship Clear Criminal Record Declared medically fit by our OMPResponsibilities
The candidate must be self-driven and disciplined Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on pumps, valves, mixers, compressors, and piping systems. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults and failures on plant equipment. Maintain equipment logs and complete job cards accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards. Participate in plant shutdowns and overhauls as required. Collaborate with plant operators and engineers to ensure smooth operations. Perform all Health and Safety-related duties in general on the Mine as per Gold One Group Limited standards * Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1's safety motto:
