Job Description


Our client is seeking a Group SNR Financial Manager for their team based in Pretoria.
Responsibilities:

  • Managing Internal Controls
  • Monitoring and reporting on cash flow and financial transactions
  • Monitoring cash flow and financial transactions
  • Compiling reports and financial packs for submission to the Board of Directors
  • Manage Preparing Weekly cashflow statement
  • Preparing Monthly Financial Reports / Presentation to Management
  • Auditors Transactions to be managed
  • Quarter & year-end close activities
  • SARS & statuary bodies transactions (CIPC updated/tax/letter of good standing)
  • Guiding Sales & Marketing on Costing
  • Preparing Yearly / Monthly budgets and forecasting
  • Maintaining asset registers / updating regularly across the operations
  • Insurance matters xe2x80x93 update on regular intervals
  • Branch Operations xe2x80x93 guidance on financial transactions/discipline
  • Payroll management
  • Managing supplier accounts
  • Bank related matters
    • Handle all bank guarantees
    • Bank exposure report and top-up payments
    • Credit card applications/renewals
    • Fleet card applications and renewals
    • Fleet Card - Check monthly usage and ensure top-up payments are made before the end of the month should the account reach its full facility
  • Debtorsxe2x80x99 management
    • Review all credit applications
    • Assist & support with clients-related mattersxe2x80x93 make contact from a more senior position
    • Credit Guarantee process going forward
    • Critical reconciliations
  • All subsidiaries/group companies records to be maintained.
    • intercompany
    • internationally
  • Stock Management
    • Products / Spares / Stock counts in regular intervals across the operations
    • Discrepancy to be discussed/managed
    • System and physical stock counts to be matched at all times
    • Implement bar codes across the operations
  • Manage all legal matters, current and new
  • application for importer's code
  • Sound knowledge and practice of dealing with Forex
  • Sound knowledge and practice of dealing with foreign accounts and their laws
  • Negotiating vendors/transporters for better costing
Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a qualified CA(SA) or alternatively an AGA(SA)/ CIMA
  • 10 +yearsxe2x80x99 experience
  • Staff management
  • Registration with a Professional Accounting body
  • Sound knowledge of SA TAX
  • Must have sound knowledge of SAGE300 & Pastel
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel

Possible start date: Mid Jan 2024 or 01 Feb 2024
Salary: R70 000.00 CTC neg
