Lead the strategic definition, creation and development of the overall Enterprise Applications strategy. Lead, manage and ensure that IT applications are aligned with the business needs of the company across AECI's global operations. Track and monitor the percentage of IT application portfolio aligned with business strategy and measure the extent to which IT application portfolio is directly supporting the organization's strategic goals. Manage and track the time to market for new IT initiatives, which will be measured against the speed at which the team delivers new IT applications that support business needs Manage and track the Return on investment (ROI) for IT application portfolio and assess the financial benefits of IT application portfolio investments, ensuring that the organization is getting a good return on its IT applications spend Lead the development, creation, implementation and maintenance of the Group Enterprise Application Portfolio strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives Lead the secure management of IT application portfolio to ensure that IT systems are designed and developed with security standards and compliant with all relevant regulations across locals and global operations Lead the design, development and implementation of the application management frameworks and methodologies across local and global operations Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across all enterprise applications Manage and track the number of new technologies evaluated and proactiveness in researching and evaluating new IT applications that could benefit the organization. Measure the time to adopt new applications from identification, evaluation and implementation thereof Lead the design and implementation of application portfolio frameworks and methodologies across local and global operations, Manage and track the number of architecture deviations identified in the application lifecycle and to identify and address any deviations, ensuring consistency and maintainability Measure the level of documentation completeness and comprehensiveness of the application portfolio documentation, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the necessary information Lead the proactive management and identification and mitigation of risks associated with the enterprise IT Application portfolio across the global operations to ensure that technical solutions are secure by design through a close collaboration with the Group information Security Officer Manage and lead the assurance and compliance with security policies, regulations, and industry standards across the IT application portfolio Develop strategies for data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity in line with the business imperatives and in line with the requirements across various global operations Lead the tracking and measurement of the number of applications related security findings to ensure the effectiveness of the efforts in enabling a secure IT environment Manage and lead all stakeholder engagement and communication and act as a strategic liaison between business leadership, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration and alignment to the strategic priorities of the global business. Lead and manage the communication of the strategic the benefits and value of enterprise architecture to stakeholders at all levels across the global operations. Lead the development and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT organization across the IT enterprise application portfolio. Lead the promotion and adoption of agile methodologies to enhance delivery and operational efficiency across the global operations and enforcing a Security by Design principles Mentor and Coach Analysts and Specialists and other IT professionals across enterprise-wide IT organization

Qualifications & Experience

BSc Computer Science, Information Systems or related any other relevant technology degree Postgraduate qualification and / or a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) will be advantageous 15 years' experience in IT with a minimum of 8 years in a Head of Business Applications role SAP 4 HANA Migration experience essential SAP Certification essential * Manufacturing industry will be advantageous
