We are looking for a highly driven

Senior Group Financial Manager

with the potential to grow into a more senior leadership role within the company. The position offers accommodation on one of the Group's farm properties if required. The ideal candidate should embrace a country lifestyle, must like adventure (hike, bike riding etc) away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and must have a strong background within the Agriculture industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

Management of financial support staff and the application of proper corporate governance
Transactional recording and review.
Maintenance of Asset Registers.
Design and implementation of adequate segregation of duties and admin processes
Debtor, Creditor and inventory management
Statistics, costings and KPI design, calculations and interpretation
Balance sheet recons, monthly management accounts and hosting of management meetings
Budget & Cash Flow development and management
Strategic considerations and support to the Board
Monthly payments
Statutory returns
Audit support and reporting of any non-compliances identified during normal work.
Design and implementation of ERP Systems

Funding applications and annual reviews with the Banks and other funders of the Group
Compilation of AFS for external review
Cost Accounting functions to support directors in decision-making.
Any ad-hoc requests from the directors

Desired Experience & Qualification

BCom Accounting degree.
Completed articles (SAIPA/CA).
5 + year of post-articles experience.
Working knowledge of ERP Systems & experience in implementation will be beneficial.
Manufacturing/Agricultural / Forestry / Sawmilling sector experience.
Inventory Management expertise.
Staff management/leadership experience.
Financial analysis and reporting skills.
Budgeting and forecasting expertise.
Risk management skills.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
Fluency in English and Afrikaans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R100000,00 - R150000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
