Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Oversee and manage the group's financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and consolidation.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting across multiple entities.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering efficiency and professional development.
- Conduct financial analysis to support investment, development, and operational decisions.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage risk, working capital, and financial performance across the property portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance).
- Professional qualification preferred (CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial management, preferably in property, real estate, or investment sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and property accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
