Group Financial Manager
Job Description
A well-established, multi-branch service provider in the vehicle rental and fleet management sector is seeking a Group Financial Manager to oversee and lead its finance function. This organisation is known for delivering high-performance, customer-focused solutions across the country. With a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth, they are looking for a commercially astute CA(SA) to join their executive team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the company's financial direction by developing long-term strategies, overseeing budgeting and reporting functions, and ensuring sound risk and control frameworks are in place. You will manage group-level reporting and consolidation, fleet financing strategies, statutory compliance, and team leadership across all regional operations.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 8-10 years' progressive experience in finance
- At least 5 years of people management experience
- 3+ years in a senior or group finance role (experience in automotive, fleet, or rental sectors advantageous)
- Strong understanding of IFRS, statutory compliance, and external audit processes
- Proficiency in managing consolidated financial reporting, fleet asset optimization, and treasury functions
- Valid driver's license
