Job Description

Lead and inspire finance teams across the group, driving collaboration, efficiency, and exceptional performance
Oversee full financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, consolidated reporting, and monthly reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity
Enhance systems, processes, and controls to reduce financial risk and deliver clean audit results
Manage cash flow, investments, and major transactions, ensuring optimal use of financial resources
Ensure full regulatory compliance with VAT, tax, FSCA, Prudential Authority, SARB, IFRS, TCF, and POPIA requirements
Direct audit processes (internal and external) and statutory reporting to meet all deadlines and standards
Partner with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights that support business growth and operational excellence
Skills & Experience:
Lead and develop finance teams in a financial services or short-term insurance setting, fostering collaboration and high performance
Manage end-to-end financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, consolidated reporting, and IFRS-compliant statements
Ensure full regulatory compliance with FSCA, Prudential Authority, SARB, TCF, POPIA, and all statutory submissions
Apply expert IFRS knowledge and strong financial control skills to strengthen processes and mitigate risk
Leverage advanced technology skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and systems such as MS Dynamics, Great Plains, or Business Central
Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior leaders, enabling sound business decisions
Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excelling in communication, problem-solving, time management, and meeting tight deadlines
Qualification:
Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) - essential requirement
