Group Financial Manager
Job Description
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to drive operational excellence
Oversee preparation and analysis of consolidated financial results for multiple entities
Guide strategic budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives
Implement and monitor robust financial controls and governance frameworks
Manage group liquidity, working capital, and investment planning
Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and statutory reporting across jurisdictions
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, delivering insights that support decision-making
Drive system improvements and automation to streamline financial operations
Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and regulators
Champion compliance with financial, tax, and data protection regulations
Skills & Experience:
CA(SA)
Minimum 4 - 8 years of Financial Management experience
Proven experience in the insurance or financial services sector
Strong technical and regulatory knowledge ie FSCA, SARB
Advanced Excel
ERP system experience (non-negotiable)
