  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Analyse financial results, trends, and KPIs; provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process across all business units.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Assist senior management with strategic planning through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Manage group-wide cash flow and working capital.
  • Monitor banking facilities, debt covenants, and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Optimize capital structure and support investment decisions.
  • Liaise with external auditors for the annual group audit.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls across the group.
  • Promote financial best practices and knowledge-sharing across the group.
  • Enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting tools for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
What our client is looking for:
  • A relevant tertiary degree would be ideal (Accounting, Finance, etc.).
  • A full CA(SA) / ACCA or equivalent.
  • 10+ years' experience in financial management.
  • Exco-level experience and cross-functional team collaboration skills are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis for funding requirements of non-profit programs is needed.
  • Skills in budget and financial management, and business acumen are essential.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, alongside emotional intelligence, are important attributes.
  • Strong ethical standards, adaptability, and leadership abilities are necessary.
