Job Description

Good Knight bedding is seeking a JuniorAccountant or Financial controller or Retail area manager that has accounting expierence

You will be based at out head office in Sandton

you will receive a travel allowance over and above your basic salary

You Duties will be split between Good Knight bedding and Blue Mercury and Blue mercury financial services with regards to financials

Your duties will include the oversight and management for selected retails stores , you will be communicating with the staff employed and ensuring stock counts and banking are correct on a weekly basis

Your basic salary excludes a travel bonus as you will be required to do some store visits

You will work closely with the CFO and assist with some financial reports and assist with loading payments and purchase orders You will ensure the stores are running efficiently and there are no stock shortages or issues regarding sales or returns from customers You will deal with our twelve corporate stores insuring stock levels and purchase orders are correct Daily banking of cash sales , ensuring amounts relate to orders being dispatched Dealing with suppliers with regards to raw materials in the factory , on occasion were the factory manager needs assistance VAT returns and submissions Reconciliations of accounts Balance payments from product providers versus policies sold or products sold

Some duties will include

Internal Controls and Risk Management:

Establishing and maintaining internal controls:

Stock control and inventory control for the factory as well as the twelve corporate stores

Evaluating financial risks:

Identifying and assessing potential financial risks.
Other Key Responsibilities:

Team leadership and management:

Overseeing sales staff and managing their inventory control and stock levels

Supporting executive decision-making:

Providing financial information and analysis to aid in strategic planning.

Identifying cost savings:

Proposing measures to reduce operational costs.

Pay: R15000,00 - R22000,00 per month

Bachelors (Preferred)
