Duties & Responsibilities
#
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly flash summaries and management accounts with insightful commentary for department heads.
Compile and present Fleet financial reports for South African operating divisions.
Review balance sheets and financial statements monthly to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Forecasting & Budgeting
Lead the coordination and preparation of quarterly forecasts and year-end budgets for Group HO, International HO, and Tsebo Fleet.
Support the consolidation of financial data for annual financial statements (AFS).
Prepare statutory AFS for standalone Group entities.

Taxation & Compliance
Calculate provisional and final tax for standalone Group companies.
Review income tax returns prepared by advisors before submission to SARS.
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 16.

anking & Financial Administration
Oversee banking administration, including fleet card management.
Maintain and update the IFRS 16 lease schedule and process related journals in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

Process Improvement & Systems Implementation
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
Prepare monthly cash flow projections for Head Office and Fleet.
Lead the implementation of the fleet management system for Tsebo Fleet.

Ad Hoc Projects
Manage multiple ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required by the Group Finance Executive.
Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills:
+ IFRS 16
+ Advanced MS Excel
+ D365 and Hyperion Financial Management (advantageous)

Qualifications
Must be a registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) -- this is a mandatory requirement for the role.
3-5 years post-articles work experience
* Experience in a multinational environment would be an added advantage
