An Award Winning Travel Company is looking for a GROUPS AND INCENTIVES TRAVEL SPECIALIST
This role entails crafting unique and engaging leisure group itineraries, with a strong focus on incentive travel experiences. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of group travel requirements, including policies, budgeting, and reservation processes. Managing bookings from initial inquiry to final documentation, they must ensure efficiency, clear communication, and adherence to standard response times. Proactively selling products and services, they will create the best possible guest experiences while upholding the company's core values. Occasional travel for group coordination or site inspections may be required.
Core Criteria:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in touring groups
• Strong understanding of service excellence in travel and tourism
• Proficiency in Tourplan or similar booking systems
• Extensive knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, and Kenya (additional experience in Namibia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique is advantageous)
• A passion for learning and adapting in a dynamic industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Solid negotiation and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Independent thinker with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Calm and professional approach in servicing agents and guests
• A team player with curiosity, adaptability, and a "can-do" attitude
