The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly driven AEO / SEO Specialist to take ownership of our organic search visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.

As search behaviour evolves towards AI-generated answers, zero-click results, and conversational search, this role is critical in ensuring our brand, products, and expertise are discoverable, authoritative, and consistently visible across Google, Bing, and emerging AI platforms.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve organic rankings, answer engine visibility, and content performance, supporting demand generation across telecoms, IT, cyber security, cloud, and connectivity services.

This role suits someone who can work independently, take full accountability for organic performance, and translate data into action, while collaborating closely with content, digital, and commercial teams.

What You Will Do

:

SEO & AEO Strategy Ownership

Take full ownership of SEO and AEO performance across all websites and digital assets. Develop and execute strategies to improve rankings, organic traffic, and AI answer visibility. Optimise content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI-generated responses. Ensure structured data, schema markup, and technical foundations support search and AI discovery.

Content Optimisation & Performance

:

Work closely with marketing and content teams to optimise existing and new content. Identify keyword opportunities aligned to commercial intent and demand generation. Ensure content aligns with E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust). Create optimisation briefs and guidance to improve content efficiency and scale.

Technical SEO & Website Health:



Monitor and improve site health, crawlability, indexing, and page performance. Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in collaboration with web and development teams. Ensure websites are optimised for speed, mobile, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.

Data, Insights & Reporting

:

Track and report on SEO and AEO performance using analytics and search tools. Analyse trends, algorithm updates, and AI search developments. Provide clear insights and recommendations to inform marketing and commercial decisions. Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and market changes.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practice:



Stay up to date with search engine and AI platform changes. Test and implement new optimisation techniques and frameworks. Build and maintain internal SEO/AEO best practices and documentation.

What We Are Looking For:



Proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of AEO and AI-driven search. Strong knowledge of on-page, technical, and content-led SEO. Experience optimising content for featured snippets, zero-click results, and AI answers. Confidence working with analytics, search consoles, and SEO tools. Ability to work independently and own performance outcomes end-to-end. Strong attention to detail with a data-driven mindset. Experience in B2B, technology, telecoms, or IT services is advantageous. Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.
