Job Description

The Group Accountant - IFRS17 Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the IFRS17 accounting standards within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of IFRS17 regulations and the ability to apply these standards to complex financial scenarios.



Responsibilities:

Implementing and coordinating the transition to IFRS17 within the organization Reviewing and interpreting financial data in accordance with IFRS17 standards Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements related to IFRS17 Providing guidance and training to staff on IFRS17 accounting principles Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts in accordance with IFRS17 standards


Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification Extensive experience working with IFRS17 standards in the insurance industry Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the insurance industry
