? Group Accountant | Strategic Finance | JHB East ? R700/R800 000.00 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)
Are you a CA(SA) or strategic finance professional ready to take on a high-impact role? We're hiring a Group Accountant to lead consolidated reporting, drive financial strategy, and support executive decision-making in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
?? About the Role This is a pivotal role in a growing group of companies within the heavy machinery and construction space. You'll work closely with the Financial Director and senior leadership to ensure accurate group-level reporting, compliance, and financial planning.
? Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at group level
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
- Support strategic initiatives, including CAPEX and investment planning
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
- Education: CA(SA) or BCom Honours with strong consolidation experience
- Experience: 5+ years in a group or senior accounting role
- Skills:
- Strong IFRS and consolidation knowledge
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple teams and entities
- Hybrid work model
- Occasional travel to group sites
