Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and reports Reconcile bank and other financial accounts Compile management reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with VAT legislation and prepare VAT returns Perform internal audits and implement financial controls Prepare audit files for external auditors Compile ad hoc reports as required by management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Professional certification such as SAIPA Completed articles with minimum of 5 years' relevant experience Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting * Proficiency in accounting software
