Job Summary
Hire Resolve, a specialist Recruitment firm, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their client's dynamic team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities
- Manage loan portfolios and ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Analyze financial data and prepare meaningful reports for management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA or ACCA) is highly preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Group Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of loan agency operations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
