As the Group Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Manager and take full responsibility for the consolidation of financial results across multiple entities. Your role will involve preparing consolidated management and statutory reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and supporting the audit process. You will also be involved in budgeting, variance analysis, and driving process improvements within the finance function. Your solid consolidation experience and technical accounting knowledge will be instrumental in delivering timely and accurate group financial information.Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed SAICA articles (preferably from a medium to large audit firm).
- Minimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a group consolidation role.
- Experience consolidating a portfolio with a turnover of R300 million or more.
- BCom Accounting degree
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and group reporting standards.
- Experience with financial systems such as CaseWare, SAP, or similar.
