Job Description
The world's largest transportation and courier conglomerate seeks an experienced and innovative Group Accountant / Financial Analyst to join their dynamic South African team, based in Johannesburg East.
Job & Company Description:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for executing all group related finance functions and act as a right-hand person for the CFO (South Africa/Namibia/Mozambique/United Kingdom/Germany).
Duties Include:
- Compile monthly shareholders packs
- Work with business units on monthly reporting packs
- Group cash flow reporting and management
- Group consolidations
- Due diligence process if required
- Compile investment papers for potential acquisitions and supply support to start up companies or acquisitions
- Management group P&L
- Evaluate business processes on business units to improve efficiencies and profitability
- Qualified CA(SA) / CIMA / MBA
- 3 to 4 years post articles experience
- Logistics or courier industry experience
- Expert Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong consolidations experience
- Strong understanding of financial business processes
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Deadline driven
