Winning Form has an exciting opportunity available for a Graphic Designer to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The successful incumbent will be responsible for setting up print files for print production, creating digital mock-ups for both internal and external clients, conceptualizing designs based on project outlines and digital calendars, and developing the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, and social media content. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of graphic design software, strong creative skills, and the ability to transform concepts into visually compelling designs



Minimum requirements:



1-3 years experience as a Graphic Designer Graphic Design Skills Desktop & Website Publishing Tools Layout Skills Adobe Suite ( InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) WordPress PowerPoint


Responsibilities:

Operational

Graphic Design Duties Print - Conceptualize, design, layout and make up to completion for print Website & social - Conceptualize, design, layout and make up to completion for website or social media. Ability to set up artwork for print. Photoshop / Illustrator - for Design and Editing Corel draw for design in the signage space. Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope with many projects at any given time Must be able to perform under-pressure and on tight deadlines. Open-minded and willing to make changes swiftly High Attention to detail Copywriting ability Creative ability Understanding and interest of the work content Research quickly for small troubleshoot problems Research quickly for ideas, images and concepts Possess the confidence to explain and sell ideas to colleagues Strong personality Enthusiastic and a passion for what you do Natural Leadership ability with proven track record Complete projects by coordinating with printing and publishing Work closely in a professional manner with external client

Compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure logical saving of all work, designs, artwork, approvals etc. Ensure that all artwork, designs, approvals etc are chronologically saved/backed up. Ensure error free designs with accurate content. Ensure that designs are free from racial, gender bias, derogatory, defamatory comments. Adhoc functions as needed.
