Job Description
A leading Sportswear Brand, delivering high quality Sportswear Apparel, has an opportunity for a talented, highly motivated Graphic Designer who has the ability to create functional, leading sportswear apparel that is aligned with market trends and meets the end consumer's needs. Should be passionate about technical apparel, have good organisational skills, work well collaboratively within a team, be detail-oriented and deadline driven.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyse trends in sporting apparel in terms of styling, fabric and technology innovation, and colour.
- Create innovative, functional designs, mood boards, colour palette and design direction for seasonal ranges.
- Develop detailed spec packs and update them throughout the development process.
- Drive the product development lifecycle adhering to quality standards, fit and costing framework.
- Fabric and trims sourcing.
- Cross collaboration with the product development team and production team to ensure timely delivery of collections.
- Maintain a close working relationship with key retail partners and suppliers to achieve business strategy.
Qualifications: Graphic/Clothing Degree/Diploma.
Experience: 3 - 5+ years experience in related industry.
Additional: o Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. o Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft packages. o Technical expertise (knowledge of fabrics, construction techniques and performance features). o Problem solving. o Deadline driven. o Passion for sports and understanding of performance fabrics. o Team player and eagerness to learn.
