Graphic Designer (PTA) IT - Designer
Pretoria/Centurion - Gauteng

ENVIRONMENT:

CRAFT visually appealing digital graphics in a diverse range of formats from websites and social media to presentations and marketing collateral as your talents as a Graphic Designer is sought by a cutting-edge FinTech company in Pretoria. You will also assist producing print & digital materials such as brochures, banners, infographics, and promotional material while design multimedia content including videos, animations and interactive presentations. The successful candidate must possess a Graphic Design Degree/Diploma with 2+ years work experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of Design principles such as Typography, space, and colour composition with proficiency in Adobe Suite tools including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. A portfolio of design projects must be submitted.

DUTIES:

• Create visually appealing graphics for various purposes, including marketing collateral, presentations, social media, websites and internal communications.
• Assist to expand and maintain the groups brand identities.
• Assist to produce print and digital materials such as brochures, banners, infographics, and promotional material.
• Assist with UX/UI design work.
• Design and produce multimedia content including videos, animations, and interactive presentations.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Call Centre Managers and Software Developers to ensure cohesive visual elements in various materials.
• Adapt designs to suit different mediums, platforms, and target audiences.
• General internal design (Email signatures, business cards etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design.

Experience/Skills

• 2+ Years experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Excellent understanding of Design principals such as Typography, space, and colour composition.
• Excellent fully bilingual communication skills, written and verbal (English and Afrikaans).
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related applications.
• Strong Portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects to be submitted with CV.

Advantageous

• Ability to create animation and video files.
• Adobe Character Animator and After Effects.
