Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant design diploma/degree
• 3-5 years experience working as a Graphic Designer
• Fully bilingual - 50% of content and writing will be in AFRIKAANS
• Good foundation in design principles
• Advanced Adobe skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong eye for typography, colour, and hierarchy xe2x80x93 as well as attention to detail
• Copywriting skills advantageous but not compulsory
• Work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
• Self-motivated and well-organized with effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines
• Team player with the ability to work with other designers as well as being proactive and conscientious
• Strong work ethic and accountability
• Friendly and outgoing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creative Problem Solving: Tackle design challenges head-on and provide innovative and effective solutions.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest design and art trends to ensure our work remains fresh and relevant.
• Layout and Composition: Skillfully arrange and present products in a visually appealing manner that enhances their marketability.
• Image Sourcing and Editing: Source and edit lifestyle images that align with our product offerings.
• Multi-Medium Design: Work with various design mediums, including digital and print, to create compelling visuals.
• Product Development: Contribute to product development, spanning from packaging design to apparel, clothing trims, and detailed design.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, and promotional materials.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
• Intercompany Interaction: Interact with key stakeholders to understand their design needs and present design concepts and solutions effectively.
• Brand Management: Ensure that all designs align with and reinforce our brand identity and guidelines.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
