Job Title: Graphic Designer Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is proficient in the Adobe suite, possesses a strong understanding of design principles, and excels in organizing and managing design assets. This remote position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create Lookbook product pages in InDesign.
• Develop Photoshop documents for product mock-ups, including layers for different colorways and print guidelines.
• Organize Lookbook pages and Photoshop documents by supplier in both project files and Google Drive folders.
• Produce Client Artwork Proofs using Illustrator and modify them into Production-ready Artwork.
• Provide accurate Artwork Proof specs for both Production and Client artwork consistently.
• Create "blank" Artwork templates for products in our library and organize them by supplier and category.
• Develop Telescope-branded customer-facing presentations for various purposes.
• Create assets for the company website, blog, and marketing initiatives.
• Accurately mock-up product images for client lookbook presentations.
• Touch up, edit, and adjust product photography images for different formats.
• Source images and resources for design projects as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with the Creative team to articulate and execute design decisions.
• Notify appropriate stakeholders when tasks are complete using project management software (Asana) and communication tools (Slack and Zendesk).
• Attend project briefings with account teams when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

• Set realistic expectations for project timing and completion.
• Organize and accurately label all files and design assets in Google Drive.
• Accurately translate design requirements into finished assets and files.
• Creative problem-solving within defined parameters.

Requirements:

• Fluent in the Adobe suite, with a high level of proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Comprehensive knowledge of color and the ability to work with files across different color modes (RGB, CMYK, PMS Pantone, HEX).
• Ability to understand, export, and save documents in various design formats and file types (.PNG, .JPG, .PSD, .INDD, .SVG, .ESP, .PDF, .AI files).
• Proficient in Google Suite, including Google Drive, Sheets, and Slides.
• Basic knowledge of Asana for project management.
• Ability to use Slack and Zoom for effective communication.
• Fluent in English.
• Own high-speed WiFi with a minimum bandwidth of 50mbps.
• Personal computer.
• Contingency plan for load shedding.

The working hours are dependent on the client, with potential shifts ranging from 3 pm to 12 am, 5 pm to 3 am, and/or 7 pm to 4 am South African time (SAST).
