Minimum Requirements
3-5 years design experience in marketing or agency; portfolio across digital, print, social media
Expert with PowerPoint presentations
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Video editing (Premiere Pro/After Effects) advantageous
Retail collateral, packaging, or in-store display material
Brand CI adherence
Creative eye for layout, typography, visual storytelling; multitasking under deadlines; collaborative and receptive to feedback

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy & Storytelling
Brand Interpreter:
They translate the brand's seasonal campaigns, marketing messages, and core identity into a physical, three-dimensional in-store experience.
Storytelling:
They create a narrative through product placement, mannequin styling, and props. For example, they might create a "weekend getaway" vignette with clothing, luggage, and accessories.
Trend Forecasting:
They stay ahead of visual trends in retail, design, and pop culture to keep the store's look fresh and relevant.
Design & Implementation
Shopfitting Displays:
Design and execute eye-catching displays that stop foot traffic and communicate key messages or promotions.
In-Store Layouts:
Plan the store's floor plan (floor merchandising) to guide customer flow, maximize exposure to products, and ensure a logical and pleasant shopping journey.
Commercial and Operational Focus
Drive Sales:
The ultimate goal of every is to increase sales and average transaction value. They strategically place high-margin or promotional items in high-traffic "hot spots." The goal is to make the mattress shopping journey smooth and fun with our brand displays differentiated to competitors.
Product Placement
: Help decide which products get prime positioning based on inventory levels, profitability, and seasonality.
Inventory Management:
Work closely with the buying and store teams to ensure point of sale material and shopfitting display items is controlled and looked after.
Maintain Standards:
Conduct regular store walks to ensure displays are clean, tidy, well-lit, and price tickets are correct and maintaining the brand's premium image.
Collaboration & Leadership
Train Store Staff
: Educate salespeople and our brand ambassadors on merchandising standards, the stories behind displays, and how to maintain the visual look throughout the day.
Work with Stakeholders:
Collaborate with marketing, buying, and store management teams and our retailers to align visual strategies with overall business goals, promotions, and product launches.
