Our client is a strategic stakeholder communication advisory firm. They write, design and produce award-winning integrated, sustainability and ESG reports for clients across Africa. Services include advisory, copywriting, design, digital and print production, branding and communication campaigns.

JOB SUMMARY
EQ8 Recruit has been engaged to help recruit a detail-orientated Designer (Integrated/Annual/ESG reports) with experience in designing stakeholder communication, integrated and sustainability reports and who has an intimate understanding of design, desktop publishing (DTP), copywriting, proof checking, proofreading and digital platforms. This position offers fully remote working.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:-

• University degree or college diploma
• Experience in designing stakeholder communication, integrated and sustainability reports (non-negotiable requirement).
• Detail-orientation and meticulous attention to detail their work and deliverables.
• Ability to spot even the smallest inconsistencies in the text, colours, or alignment.
• An intimate understanding of design, desktop publishing (DTP), copywriting, proof checking, proofreading and digital platforms.
• Inspirational presentation skills
• Working with a wide range of media including multiple print and digital platforms
• Be technologically savvy.
• Exceptional 2D design skills
• A good knowledge of 3D design
• Excellent skills in page layout design
• Very good at infographic design
• Highly skilled in developing Design Concepts and presentation thereof to clients
• A good understanding of brand strategy
• Fully Mac literate in all relevant programs
• Computer skills and knowledge:

o InDesign
o Illustrator
o Photoshop
o PowerPoint
o Word
o Excel

• Dedication to the production of high-quality work
• A strong people orientation, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues
• Ability to juggle both technical and creative projects.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet clientxe2x80x99s deadlines timeously.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:-

• Work as part of a senior and experienced team delivering award- winning integrated, sustainability and ESG reports, as well as various other forms of stakeholder communication
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the team
• Generate ideas, collaborate with typesetters, develop concepts and execute work to an impeccable standard and produce award winning output.
• Fast conceptual skills, and inspirational design presentations
• Present and sell ideas both internally and to clients
• Maintain high standards of creative excellence and attention to detail
• Being aware and identifying the latest digital and technology trends
• A thorough understanding of the production process and feel comfortable collaborating with the production partners and managing internal staff
• Regular quality checks on individual projects during production process with tremendous attention to detail.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
