Who We Are Looking For
GardaWorld Security Africa is seeking an energetic and visionary Graphic Designer with a passion for storytelling through design. This isn't just about making things look good; it's about making complex geopolitical intelligence understandable, memorable, and impactful . You'll be the creative force behind how we visually communicate our insights, shaping narratives that resonate across digital platforms, executive briefings, and client-facing reports.
As our sole in-house designer, you'll lead the design function within the Marketing and Communications team, crafting a distinctive visual voice for the region. You'll translate data and intelligence into compelling visual experiences, including but not limited to infographics, presentations, animations, and more, that not only inform but inspire action.

What You Will Work On
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in enhancing the brand presence of GardaWorld Security - Africa. You will lead the design and execution of visual content across digital and print platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and creativity in how we communicate insights and intelligence.
Creative Design & Visual Storytelling:
  • Lead the design and development of impactful marketing materials across digital and traditional platforms (e.g., brochures, presentation templates, toolkits, social media, email, web banners)
  • Develop intuitive, visual-first dashboards and interfaces that translate complex data into clear, engaging user experiences.
  • Drive data visualization initiatives for the Information Services Team, transforming analytical insights into compelling infographics, maps, and interactive visuals for reports and executive briefings.
Marketing Collateral & Brand Management:
  • Produce and maintain marketing and sales tools, including PowerPoint templates and digital assets
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints by evolving and managing the GardaWorld design system
  • Oversee quality control for all visual outputs, ensuring alignment with brand standards
Collaboration & Project Management:
  • Work closely with analysts, developers, and product managers to prototype and refine user-centric designs
  • Participate in UX research and gather user feedback to improve visual engagement
  • Track project progress, communicate updates, and manage priorities to meet deadlines
Digital Asset Management:
  • Maintain and organize the digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring timely updates and accessibility of brand materials
Team Engagement:
  • Actively contribute to weekly planning meetings and support broader marketing initiatives as needed
What You Will Bring
Education & Experience:
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in visual design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual or story-telling thinking and execution across both digital and print formats, including marketing assets. Data visualizations and user-centric interfaces a bonus.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, with a strong command of layout, typography, and visual composition.
  • Advanced PowerPoint capabilities, with experience designing and optimizing high-impact templates and presentations for executive and client-facing use.
  • Proficient in additional creative platforms such as Canva, Foxit, Snagit, and emerging AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Pika Labs) to enhance visual storytelling and content creation.
  • Experienced in designing for digital platforms, including web, social media, email, animation, and WhatsApp for Business, with a focus on mobile-first, high-engagement formats.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Analytics tools such as Tableau, Arc, and Power BI; experience with interactive publishing platforms like Maglr is a plus.
  • Design task requirement: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief creative exercise to demonstrate both technical proficiencies, story-telling and design thinking.
