Job Description
Come and join the team at our fine-grain Black Granite (Dolerite) site, with its own distinct and captivating grain structure.
This person must be willing to relocate to the Eastern Cape!
Some key roles:
- Managing cutting and polishing of raw material to finished product.
- 5-10 years experience in position.
- Knowledge of granite and slab industry.
- Knowledge of tombstone industry advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Granite Cutter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating cutting and polishing tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Wiling to relocate
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Specialized training in mining technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, and related fields
- Occupational qualifications at NQF Level 1 or 2, then Miner at NQF Level 3, and so on
