Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
We are a company that provides Quantity Surveying and Project Management Services in the Construction Industry in South Africa. The company has private and public sector Clients for whom we render our services. Services rendered are in accordance with work undertaken by Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
The ideal candidate should have recently graduated from a tertiary institution with a B Tech or B Sc Hon in Quantity Surveying.
Responsibilities
Preparation of Estimates
Preparation of Bills of Quantities
Undertaking tasks related Administration of the Projects
Preparation of monthly payment certificates.
Preparation of Final Accounts
Skills required are:
Proficiency in WinQS and DimX
Proficient editing and letter writing skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel & Word skills are required
General language and IT skills are essential
Attention to detail
Able to work under pressure & manage workload effectively
Good communication skills & a collaborative mindset
Teamwork
Conflict resolution
