Key Role
The successful applicant will join our growing and exciting Maritime team as a Port & Coastal Engineer, with a focus on technical excellence, innovative thinking and teamwork. Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will take part in Port & Coastal Engineering aspects such as:
Input and participation in coastal process data analyses and modelling (e.g. metocean studies, sediment transport, etc.).
Pre-feasibility to detailed port & coastal engineering feasibility studies, including designs and reporting, master-planning and concept thinking.
Concept up to detailed port & coastal engineering designs, drawing generation, technical specifications, capital and operational cost estimations, and involvement in project implementation.
Health and Safety
Upholding standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the company's health, safety, environmental and quality vision and policies by influencing those around you.
Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm.

Qualifications and Experience Required
BSc Eng / B Eng Civil Engineering degree is a definite requirement.
A post-graduate masters (M Eng / MSc Eng) qualification in Port & Coastal Engineering will be highly advantages.
A post-graduate masters (M Eng / MSc Eng) qualification in Structural or Hydraulic Engineering will be an advantage.
0 - 3 years' post graduate experience in Ports & Coastal engineering aspects, including design, modelling, masterplanning or direct supervision will be highly advantageous.
Experience in coastal engineering and other software tools will be highly advantageous:
Deltares Delft-3D, SWAN and DHI Mike (MA & BW).
UNIBEST-CL+, XBEACH or similar (shoreline models, storm erosion models).
Autodesk CAD & Civil3D, Revit, Robot.
Competence in digital engineering and computer proficiency using MATLAB / PYTHON/VBA to analyse environmental data and/or facilitate designs would be an advantage.
Knowledge on coastal design guidelines and standards, e.g. Rock Manual, CEM, DNV, BS codes, EuroTop would be an advantage.

A strong interest and aptitude for Port & Coastal Engineering is a definite requirement.
