Graduate Mechanical Engineering Internship

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering graduate (or similar) to join our client's team based in Jet Park for a 12-month internship. The successful candidate must be eager to gain hands-on, practical experience and reside within the Boksburg area. This opportunity is ideal for a young professional looking to launch their engineering career.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with design work, calculations, and analysis of technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development through mentorship and training.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Participate in project planning, coordination, and progress tracking.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and technical reporting to support ongoing projects.
- Completed or recently graduated with a BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- MS Office proficiency
- Driver's License is essential
- Basic knowledge of engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or similar - advantageous)
- Willingness to travel or work on-site if required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical ability
