Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a well-established mining company, is looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join their team in Gauteng. As a Grader Operator, you will play a crucial role in the mining operations, operating and maintaining the grader equipment to ensure the proper grading of surfaces and roads.Responsibilities:
- Operate and control grader equipment to grade surfaces and roads
- Maintain proper and accurate grading according to specifications
- Perform pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance
- Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid Grader Operator Certificate
- Symbol A Dover test
- 3 years' experience as a grader operator in opencast mining.
- Sound knowledge of grader equipment operation and maintenance
- Operational knowledge of opencast mining and earth moving equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
